About us

Comfort Baking is a homebased, family run business! The owners are a mother daughter team:  Diana Onderick and Hunter Onderick. 

Hunter has been baking as long as she can remember. She started getting more passionate about it after she found out that she had a lot of dietary restrictions.  Hunter has always struggled with stomach issues and one year she ended up in the hospital due to horrible stomach pains. That was when she was figuring out how to help herself and started trying a lot of different types of diets.  She is now Gluten free and Dairy free.

 

At the beginning it was really hard because baking GF and DF is very difficult...but Hunter kept practicing; and her love of baking grew.  She has had a lot of people in her life encourage her to keep pursuing baking and start up her own business. She tried starting it in 2023-2024; but a lot in her life changed, so she had to take a step back from it. After finding herself again and focusing on her faith, she is ready to pursue her dreams again:). 

 

 Hunter and Diana have always been super close. Diana has helped Hunter grow a lot and always encouraged her to pursue her passions and dreams. Diana has 3 beautiful daughters (Hunter is the oldest) then there is Logan and Dillan.
